Stoughton Library Presents Educational Elections Presentations
The library invites the community to learn about elections and election history.

STOUGHTON, MA - The Stoughton Public Library will present "The Election Year: Hollywood’s America." Join Frank Mandosa for a timely 3 part series. Thursday, September 29– Social Commentary in Hollywood Films Thursday, October 13- World War II: 20th Century Hollywood in Wartime America Tuesday, November 1- Hollywood Heads to the Polls: Films about Campaigns, Elections, Political Power and Other Travesties
Another election-themed series offered will be "Contested Elections: 1800, 1876 & 2000." August 25, September 15, November 3. Dr. Gary Hylander revisits the issues, controversies and final resolution of 3 elections, and the process by which Thomas Jefferson, Rutherford B. Hayes and George W. Bush were legally elected and sworn in as President.
