A Stoughton woman and nurse previously charged with elder abuse is set to return to court next week, <a href="http://www.wcvb.com/news/stoughton-nurse-indicted-in-elder-abuse-case/28081446" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">WCVB reported Wednesday</a>.<a href="https://patch.com/massachusetts/stoughton/stoughton-woman-charged-with-elder-abuse#.VBndDGBX-uY">Stoughton Police arrested Sandra Luxien-Calixte, 48, in February</a> after they found a 75-year-old woman she had been caring for in a basement bedroom with the thermostat off and the temperature at about 51 degrees. The victim, moreover, reportedly had bed sores that exposed bone and had been dehydrated and malnourished.Lucien-Calixte was charged with permitting serious injury to an elder in February and was held on $25,000 bail.She was subsequently indicted by a grand jury and will head to a pretrial conference on Wednesday, Sept. 24, with a pretrial hearing scheduled for Oct. 28, <a href="http://www.wcvb.com/news/stoughton-nurse-indicted-in-elder-abuse-case/28081446" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">according to WCVB</a>.
