Stoughton Resident, Framingham Radio Host Held By ICE
Frilei Bras was charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle last weekend and now he's being held by immigration agents.

STOUGHTON, MA — A radio host in Framingham and father of three with another child on the way could be deported.
Frilei Bras, who lives in Stoughton, was taken by ICE agents April 8 following an arrest by the Stoughton Police Department. Now, friends and family are hoping to raise enough money for his pending legal battle.
The GoFundMe page, created by "Friends of Frilei," has raised more than $23,000 and had a goal of $20,000.

"Frilei has been here in the United States since 2005, an exemplary man, married, father of 3 beautiful children and his wife is pregnant. He is very active in the Stoughton Catholic Community, preacher of the Word, Radio 650 AM announcer, co-founder and manager of the Juve-Pro Soccer team. Whoever knows it, can attest to its integrity," the GoFundMe story reads.
Bras is active in the Stoughton Catholic community, a broadcaster on 650AM, and is a co-founder of the Juve-Pro Soccer team.

The Stoughton Police Log confirms that Bras was arrested on the morning of April 8 and charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. Police told the Stoughton News Facebook page that during the stop, police learned that Bras had a deportation detainer. Immigration & Customs Enforcement was notified of the arrest and Bras was taken into ICE custody after posting bail.
