Charity Foundation Awards $2,500 Toward Sudbury History Center

SUDBURY, MA—The Main Street Bank Charitable Foundation awarded The Sudbury Historical Society a $2,500 grant for their campaign to build the new Sudbury History Center.
The Sudbury Historical Society (SHS) is working toward restoring and repurposing the circa 1730 Loring Parsonage to provide Sudbury with a long-needed History Center to include a museum, visitor’s center and work space for the Historical Society, said the announcement.
This project will help to revitalize the historic town center, while also exhibiting the Historical Society’s collection. Since the SHS will be moving out of the Sudbury Town Hall, the new location will allow for additional visitors, members and volunteers.
