Healthcare Community Forum To Be Held At Goodnow Library

Leaders, legislators and activists from Sudbury, Wayland, Lincoln and Maynard will gather at the Goodnow Library for a healthcare forum.

SUDBURY, MA - A community forum to discuss local and national healthcare-related concerns will be held at Goodnow Library in Sudbury Thursday, Feb. 27, at 7 p.m.

Sudbury and Wayland Democrats are joining with other local leaders, legislators and sponsors to hold this forum. Sen. James Eldridge, Rep. Carmine Gentile and others will lead the "Reimagining Healthcare" community forum hosted by Sudbury, Maynard, Lincoln and Wayland Democratic Town Committees. Several healthcare experts will join for an in-depth discussion and Q&A on universal healthcare and Medicare-For-All.

  • Kimberley Connors, executive director of the Massachusetts Campaign for Single Payer Healthcare and a resident of Maynard.
  • Michael Doonan, professor and associate dean for academics and online learning at The Heller School for Social Policy and Management, Brandeis University.
  • Vivian Kobusingye Birchall, founder of Health Care Blind Spots, an initiative dedicated to finding overlooked areas in healthcare and proposing solutions for the benefit of the general public's wellbeing.
