Teenager Charged With Assault on Elderly Person, 76-year-old Man Arrested for OUI

The following are arrest logs provided by the Sudbury Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

An Amanda Road resident was charged with assault on an elderly person earlier this week, one of three recent arrests made by Sudbury Police.

Sudbury Police Lt. Robert Grady said that on Tuesday, police responded to a domestic incident on Dutton Road at around 9 p.m.

Following the incident, officers arrested Gerard Elkins, 18, of 27 Amanda Road, Sudbury. He was charged with assault and battery on an elderly person.

Elkins was held overnight and taken to court on Wednesday, according to Grady.

On Sunday, Sudbury Police arrested Jeff Nicholas Novack, 26, of 22 Vineyard Street, Danvers. Novack was charged with operating with a suspended license for a chemical test refusal.

In another recent arrest, officers took Adrian Metz, 76, of 187 Moore Road, Sudbury, into custody.

Metz was arrested on Sterns Lane at 10:31 p.m. on Wednesday, July 30, for failure to stop at a stop sign and operating under the influence of liquor.
