Caller Reports A Trespasser Slept in His Basement
Plus, a man going through the trash, a dog in distress and more.

Wednesday, Aug. 19
At 8:15 a.m., a suspicious man was reported to be going through trashcans on Bay View Avenue.
At 8:17 p.m., a caller reported that a person known to the caller had slept in the basement without permission. The suspected trespasser was no longer on site at the time of the call, but left some personal property.

At 3:55 p.m., a caller reported witnessing a hit-and-run in the parking lot at Stop & Shop.

At 5:23 p.m., a dog was reported to be in distress in a motor vehicle outside Marshalls. The log notes that the dog was OK and the owner came out of the store.
At 10:28 p.m., a motion alarm was tripped at a residence on Salem Street. Everything appeared secure and the log notes that a bat stuck in inside could have tripped the alarm.
