Car Reported Stolen, Then Located One Block Away

Here's the latest from the Swampscott Police Department log.

Friday, Oct. 2

At 7:58 a.m., a caller reported their motor vehicle had been stolen; it was recovered one block away.

At 10:10 a.m., a caller said three packages had been dropped off at a side door. The caller wasn’t expecting any deliveries and the packages are addressed to the right address, but to the wrong name.

At 4:27 p.m., a caller reported that his wife drank some unknown substance that was causing her to vomit; she was semi-conscious.

At 5:25 p.m., a caller said a man in a dark colored Mercedes was yelling at a woman. Police were unable to locate a vehicle matching the description.

At 7:13 p.m., two men were reported to be sitting in a van outside a vacant house.
