SWAMPSCOTT, MA - Police log from Dec. 5-6:

Saturday, Dec. 5

At 7:15 a.m., a party reported hearing a loud bang and then seeing what appeared to be a crash involving a vehicle and a parked car.

At 2:52 p.m., a customer reported that an employee at North Shore Furniture had threatened her and refused to give her back her money.

At 8:35 p.m., an male overdose victim was transported.

Sunday, Dec. 6

At 7:17 a.m., a caller reported a suspicious man in a black hoodie wandering around the neighborhood in the area of the Machon School.

At 9:05 a.m., a caller reported hearing a loud bang and then the power went out.

At 2:29 p.m., a found cell phone was reported.

At 5:29 p.m., an out-of-control fire in the fire place was reported.
