A person is no longer delivering packages for Amazon after dozens of undelivered orders were found thrown in the trash in at least three communities across Massachusetts.

It started Monday, when a groundskeeper at Chestnut Hill Cemetery in Burlington came across a stash of packages in a trash bin. The responding officers made a bit of national news as they took it upon themselves to deliver the still-unopened packages, of which Boston 25 reported there were about 40.

"To ensure that everyone gets their merchandise in a timely fashion (and without too much red tape!) we are delivering the packages to the proper addresses," police said on Facebook.
