Girl Hides Under Porch Reports Suspicious People in Her House

Plus, a young boy calls to say his mom is very sick and a suspicious man reportedly watches kids at a park.

At 1:38 a.m., an officer came upon an open door at an Atlantic Avenue property. The door was secured and nothing appeared amiss inside.

At 10:12 a.m., a young child told dispatch his mom was really sick and couldn’t walk. She had been sick for a couple of days. The dad was home with the child and the mother was transported to the hospital.

At 5:08 p.m., a caller was concerned about kids jumping off the pier near the Fish House. Officers observed kids sitting on the pier, but not jumping off.

At 5:22 p.m., an 11-year-old girl who was home alone called police and said she was hiding under the porch while two unknown teenagers were in the house. Police responded and found it was a dog making all the noise.

At 10:36 p.m., a caller reported visually confronting a suspicious man that appeared to be sitting in his car and watching kids at the park. Police spoke with the suspect who said he was lost and was looking at street signs. He appeared to check out.
