HERO Act Information Session Set For North Shore Community College

The E.F. Gilmore Disabled American Veterans will host the session featuring the Executive Office of Veterans Services and local officials.

SWAMPSCOTT, MA — North Shore veterans are invited to learn more about benefits to which they may be entitled at a HERO Act informational session at the North Shore CC in Lynn.

The Swampscott-Lynn chapter of the Disabled Veterans of America is hosting the session that will include representatives from the Executive Office of Veterans Services and local officials. They will be on hand to discuss provisions of the HERO Act that include tax credits, such as a local real estate tax exemption and excise tax exemption for veterans.

The session begins at 7 p.m. on Oct. 17.
