Holiday Parade, Celebration Coming Up in Swampscott

There's still time to sign up to participate in the parade.

‘Tis the season for celebration and fun in Swampscott.

On Dec. 12, the Swampscott Police Association will host the annual holiday parade, stepping off at 5:30 p.m. from Swampscott High School.

The route will take participants down Essex to Burrill, Burrill to Paradise, Paradise to Vinnin to Salem Street, Salem Street to Humphrey Street all the way to town hall.

The Swampscott Recreation Department will host music and family events on the town hall lawn following the parade.
