Just a Man Walking Down the Sidewalk and Yelling
Here's the latest from the Swampscott Police Department log.

Saturday, Oct. 3
At 2 a.m., an officer discovered the front door of Chipotle was not secure. The door was secured after a check of the premises was performed.
At 12:53 p.m., a caller reported that a man in a livery vehicle was “very persistent” about the caller getting a ride.

At 2:56 p.m., a caller reported kids throwing rocks and walking on the railroad tracks. The kids were found to be throwing a football over the tracks and were advised.
At 8:55 p.m., a report came in of four youths being loud in the street. An officer spoke with the kids, which took care of the problem.

At 11:09 p.m., a fight was reported in the street on Brown Road.

Sunday, Oct. 4
At 8:03 a.m., a motor vehicle was reported to have been broken into the night before.
At 9:25 a.m., a motor vehicle was reported to have been broken into the night before.
At 2:23 p.m., an employee at Bertram House reported their purse was stolen while there were at work.
At 7:36 p.m., a man came into the station to report that his girlfriend tried to run him over in the Stop & Shop parking lot a month ago.
At 11:23 p.m., a caller reported a man walking up the sidewalk along Humphrey Street near the boat ramp and yelling. The person was located and said he was just out for a walk. He agreed to head home.
