Man, 20, Calls Police After Parents Kick Him Out of Apartment

At 12:48 a.m., a unit came upon an audible security alarm at Walgreens; everything appeared secured.

At 2:17 a.m., police checked on a person who turned out to be waiting for a ride at the train depot.

At 7:59 a.m., police received a report of several unleashed dogs on the soccer field behind the high school.

At 9:10 a.m., police arrested Michael Gillett, 39, of Marblehead following a motor vehicle stop for an expired inspection sticker. Gillett was charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, possession of a Class E drug, no inspection sticker and not having his registration in his possession.

At 9:55 a.m., a woman reported a hawk was in her backyard and may be injured.

At 12:25 p.m., a 20-year-old man called police after his parents threw him out of the apartment and told him he could call police.

At 2:14 p.m., a motorcycle operator sustained injuries when that person fell off the motorcycle on Essex Street.

At 3:37 p.m., a report came in of kids jumping off fisherman’s pier.

At 5:42 p.m., a woman reported a group of motorcycles had passed her house, going in and out of Lynn, three times in the past 10-15 minutes. The motorcyclists were speeding and doing wheelies, according to the caller.

At 6:58 p.m., a breaking and entering in progress was reported on Puritan Road.

At 7:15 p.m., a man who was out of town called police to say a neighbor had witnessed two men looking in his windows. Police did not find any evidence that entry to the caller’s home had been gained.
