At 1:09 p.m., a caller reported that one of their checks had been stolen and fraudulently cashed in the amount of $852.

At 4:09 p.m., a person came into the lobby and reported someone tried to open a Sear’s credit card in Maryland using his identity.
At 4:53 p.m., a caller reported that a Hispanic man approached a 14-year-old female asking for directions. He then reportedly offered her $100 to get into his car and show him how to get to Salem.
At 10:20 p.m., police followed an erratic operator coming from Lynn on the Lynnway after the state police issued a BOLO to Lynn Police for the vehicle. Police stopped the driver and subsequently arrested Victoria Styskina, 49, of Salem. Styskina was charged with operating under the influence of liquor and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.
