North Shore Veterans Fair to Highlight Jobs, Benefits on Saturday
The North Shore Jobs and Benefits Fair on Saturday at Beverly High School will offer a free healthcare check and a job fair plus free food.

Veterans from across the North Shore are invited to a benefits and career fair at Beverly High School on Saturday.
The free event is open to military veterans of all ages from all eras on Saturday, Aug. 23 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. It is also open to friends and relatives of veterans.
The Veterans Expo has been organized by the city of Beverly along with the Veterans Administration in Boston and Bedford and the state Department of Career Services.

The expo will include free veteran support services including free healthcare checks, VA benefits claims, legal services, financial planning guidance seminars and more. A total of 30-40 veterans support agencies are scheduled to attend. Additionally, North Shore community services and recreational programs will be there along with companies and schools as part of a job fair portion of the event. Veterans should bring their resume and DD214. Parking at Beverly High School is free and a free shuttle will offer rides every half hour from Beverly Depot.
There will also be free food, live music , kids activities and regional coupons and giveaways. Door prizes and gifts will also be given out.
