One of Two Women Found Safe, Search Continues for Missing Swampscott Mother
A search continues for a young mother from Swampscott that has been missing since Thursday.

A Lynn woman whose disappearance was thought to possibly be connected to the disappearance of a Swampscott mother, has been found safe.
The sister of Stephanie Vaczy, 35, said in a Facebook post that Stephanie was found safe on Tuesday. She had been gone since Oct. 30.
Jamiee Mendez is still missing. Mendez is a 25-year-old mother from Swampscott who was last seen with a level 3 sex-offender- who also knew Vaczy - last Thursday evening. Relatives had said early Tuesday that the disappearance of the two women were possibly connected, but now Vaczy has been found and Mendez remains missing.

Jamiee Mendez’s sister, Alyssa, told reporters Tuesday that Jamiee is a responsible person who would not have abandoned her family, including a young son, “so there is something that’s off there,” The Boston Globe reported.
Investigators have been searching areas of Lynn, Salem and Swampscott.
