Rash of Car Breaks Reported Wednesday Morning

Swampscott, MA - Police are investigating close to a dozen car break-ins that were reported in the town on Wednesday morning.

In some of the cases, the car doors were unlocked and there was no damage to the vehicles.

Various electronic items were reported stolen from some of the vehicles, while in other cases, the suspects went through papers in the car but were not believed to have taken anything.

The car breaks were reported on Columbia Street, Maple Avenue, Park Square, Elwin Street, Windsor Avenue, Burrill Street, Burpee Road, and Doherty Circle.
