Shoplifting Arrest, Wire 'Exploded' on the Ground, Suspicious Window

At 9:04 a.m., a tenant dispute was reported.

At 11:50 a.m., a wire was reported to be down in the area of Walker and Paradise roads. The log notes that the wire possibly “exploded” on the ground and could have been caused by a motor vehicle hit-and-run. Officers determined there was no hit-and-run.

At 12:44 p.m., the loss prevention office at Marshall’s reported a shoplifter fled the store with merchandise. Police arrested Michael Pavone, 32, no known address, charging him with shoplifting.

At 4:39 p.m., a report of a barking dog came in.

At 6:39 p.m., a man reported that he was out in his boat and had received a call from his wife, who was home alone with their baby, telling him she thought someone had come in the house. An officer spoke with a neighbor and found everything to be all set.

At 11:23 p.m., an officer found an open window on the back side of Stanley. It did not appear anyone could have gained entrance through the window. An officer secured the window.
