At 12:37 a.m., a caller reportedly spotted a man in his backyard looking around. He said he thought the man was picked up by a car.

At 7:23 a.m,, two landscaped trucks parked opposite one another made passage on Banks Road difficult.

At 10:57 a.m., a lost dog was reported and soon picked up by its owner.

At 11:07 a.m., a woman was reported to be passed out in a vehicle on Essex Street.

At 11:49 a.m., a bicycle was reported to be in the middle of Hawthorne’s Crossing, but was gone on officers’ arrival.

At 11:57 a.m., a nearby daycare center complained that a neighbor had been running a snowblower for the past 30 minutes.

At 2:41 p.m., two callers reported a man and woman walking in the area of Essex Street and high school access road and arguing. The callers reported that the man reached for the woman and she ran away.

At 2:47 p.m., a caller reported that a FedEx driver dropping off a package had noted a suspicious man looking into a neighbor’s window and trying the door. Police located a person matching the description.

At 5:24 p.m., a caller reported older teens “harrassing” young children at the park.

At 5:31 p.m., a crash involving a motor vehicle and a skateboarder was reported on Stetson Avenue. One person was transported to the hospital and the vehicle was towed.

At 6:54 p.m., a past motor vehicle breaking and entering was reported on Stanley Road.

At 8:39 p.m., vandalism to a motor vehicle was reported.

At 8:43 p.m., a caller reported that a woman had been walking back and forth on Fairview Avenue for 10-15 minutes and smoking a pipe containing something that didn’t smell like regular tobacco. The party in question agreed not to return to the area.

At 9:24 p.m., arcing wires were reported behind CVS.

Saturday, July 18

At 4:47 a.m., a caller reported a man laying on the sidewalk near Humphrey and Kensignton. The man was waiting on a ride, which arrived at the same time as police.

At 11:52 a.m., a found purse was turned in.

At 2:18 p.m., a caller from Family Doctors reported a squirrel in business’ parking lot that was either dying or rabid. The animal control officer picked up the squirrel.

At 8:40 p.m., three callers reported fireworks being used at Phillips Beach.
