Stranded Seal; Trail Fire: Swampscott Police

At 8:09 a.m., there was a motor vehicle accident at Richdale and Humphrey. A parked car was struck.
At 9:19 a.m., a backpack and a jacket was found left in a driveway on Superior Street. It was recovered by a police officer.

At 11:40 a.m., there was a report of a seal near a drainpipe on Phillips Beach. The caller was concerned that the seal looked stranded. The animal control officer was notified.
At 6:21 p.m., there was a report of a fire off a trail on Nason Road. Some kids with backpacks were spotted who may have been involved.
