Wednesday, Sept. 16
At 7:53 a.m., a suspicious van was reported to be parked on Tupelo Road. The van was a rental registered to a neighbor.
At 8:11 a.m., a possible breaking and entering attempt was reported on Franklin Avenue.

At 11:42 a.m., a caller reported a van that possibly matched the description of one mentioned in connection with several area break-ins. This van, spotted on Longley Avenue, turned out to be a plumbing vehicle.

Thursday, Sept. 17
At 8:16 a.m., a person flagged down an officer and reported a driver may have been sleeping at a traffic light. The vehicle in question was gone on officer’s arrival.
At 9:38 a.m., a caller reported spotting a van similar to the one wanted in connection to recent break-ins.
At 12:58 p.m., a caller reported a FedEx truck struck a stop sign.
At 5:16 p.m., a refrigerator with the doors still attached was reported to be on the sidewalk for disposal. An officer spoke with the owner about removing the doors.
At 6:35 p.m., a man reportedly tried to get a girl to get in the car with him and go to Salem. The car was described as a light blue sedan. The driver was described as a Hispanic male with a goatee.
At 9:05 p.m., a woman came home to find her residence had been broken into and ransacked.
