Suspect in Mendez Murder Heads to Court Monday

The man accused of murdering Swampscott mother Jaimee Mendez, whose remains were found on King’s Beach in January, is headed to court on Monday.

Fleury was arrested Aug. 4 in Hampton, Vir. Following his extradition to Massachusetts, Fleury pleaded not guilty to the murder charge on Aug. 6.
Mendez, 25, was last seen on Nov. 6, 2014. Her remains washed ashore with a lobster trap on Jan. 28.
