Swampscott High Celebrates Northeastern Conference All-Star Honors

The Big Blue earned 15 NEC All-Conference or All-Star nods this fall season, not counting football.

SWAMPSCOTT, MA — Swampscott High student-athletes were rewarded for a highly successful fall season with 15 Northeastern Conference All-Star or All-Conference honors.

The list includes honors for cheer, cross country, field hockey, boys soccer, girls soccer and girls volleyball. Football All-Stars will be announced after the Thanksgiving game against Marblehead.

The girls cross cross country, girls soccer and volleyball teams were NEC Lynch Division champions this fall with cross country, field hockey, football, girls soccer and volleyball qualifying for the postseason.

The cheer squad also qualified for Regionals this weekend in Billerica.

Two Swampscott athletes were named NEC All-Conference with Lillian Gosselin of the girls soccer team and Brooke Waters of the field hockey team attaining the lofty feat.

Victoria Quagrello, Laine Foutes and Jessie Ford were NEC girls soccer All-Stars.

Olivia Baran and Coco Clopton were field hockey All-Stars.

Lucas Bereaud and Szyman Wabno were boys soccer All-Stars.

Caleigh O'Brien was named a cheer All-Star.

Colette Hail and Thea Giantis were cross country All-Stars.

Sofia Comfort, Jamila Driakhi and Anastaisa Hayes were volleyball All-Stars.
