Swampscott New Year's Polar Plunge To Benefit 8th Grade Trip

This year's plunge will benefit the middle school trip to Washington D.C.

SWAMPSCOTT, MA — Swampscott residents and brave neighbors across the North Shore are invited to register and take part in this year's Swampscott Yacht Club New Year's Polar Plunge.

This year's beneficiary is the Swampscott Middle School 8th grade trip to Washington D.C.

Registration will take place at Fisherman's Beach at 10:15 a.m. and at the Dockside Pub from 9 to 10 a.m.

The plunge will begin at 11 a.m. sharp.

The entry fee is $50 per person and includes a long-sleeved commemorative T-shirt.
