Swampscott Police Seek Tips On Hate Graffiti

The messages on Eisman's Beach and Blocksidge Field in Swampscott included homophobic slurs.

SWAMPSCOTT, MA — Police are reviewing footage from security cameras in homes near Eisman’s Beach and Blocksidge Field in Swampscott, as well as the federal government's coastline cameras, in hopes of identifying suspects that vandalized the beach and sports field early Wednesday morning. Graffiti at the beach included homophobic slurs, while "[Expletive deleted] Swampscott" and other profane messages were painted on storage lockers and portable toilets at the field.

The graffiti was removed Wednesday morning. Swampscott police are asking anyone with information about the incident to call 781-595-111.
