Swampscott Sex Offender Arrested On Assault Charges
A man arrested last week in Swampscott was reportedly awaiting reclassification as a sex offender.
SWAMPSCOTT, MA – Swampscott Police arrested Giovanni Rossi, 45, on a warrant with charges of assault and battery, and indecent assault and battery last week.
Fox25 is reporting that Rossi is a convicted sex offender who's awaiting reclassification after a Massachusetts court changed the standard by which sex offenders are classified. Rossi told police weeks before the alleged assault that he was awaiting reclassification.
