Swampscott Town Annual Election Early Voting, Poll Location

Swampscott voters will go to the polls on April 29 to elect town-wide positions as well as candidates for the annual town meeting.

SWAMPSCOTT, MA — Swampscott voters will go to the polls on April 29 to elect town-wide positions as well as candidates for the annual town meeting. The Select Board has also approved five days of early voting prior to election day.

Town positions up for a vote this spring are:

TOWN MODERATOR - 1 Year Term

TWO SELECT BOARD members - 3 Year Terms

BOARD OF ASSESSOR member - 3 Year Term

TWO SCHOOL COMMITTEE members - 3 Year Terms

TRUSTEE OF THE PUBLIC LIBRARY member - 3 Year Term

BOARD OF HEALTH member – one is a 3 Year Term, one is a 1 year term

THREE CONSTABLES members – 3 Year Term

PLANNING BOARD member - 5 Year Term

ONE HOUSING AUTHORITY member – one is a 5 Year Term, one is a 3 Year Term

There are also 18 Town Meeting Member slots open in each of our 6 precincts.

Voting on election day will be at Swampscott High School 200 Essex Street.

Voters can request a vote by mail ballot here.

Swampscott will have five days of early voting with it taking place at town hall on April 21 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., April 22 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., April 23 from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., April 24 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and April 25 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
