Monday, Sept. 28
At 12:56 a.m., a caller reported their doorbell had been rung, but no one was around.
At 7:38 a.m., a loose dog was reported to be running in traffic near the middle school.

At 7:46 a.m., a caller reported that a man was sleeping in a running motor vehicle on Redington.

At 9:40 a.m., a report came in of chickens that had escaped their coop and were in the roadway on Orchard Terrace.
At 9:48 a.m., police made an arrest following a motor vehicle stop. Lenworth Hall, 52, of Lynn was charged with operating after having his license suspended; it was a subsequent offense.
At 10:08 a.m., two unregistered female solicitors were reported.
At 6:51 p.m., a woman returned a wallet she found at the train station a few weeks ago. She said that she’d been unable to locate the owner on her own.
At 9:11 p.m., a caller reported that someone dumped a door in front of his house for trash pickup. The caller was instructed to call the DPW for pickup if the trash truck didn’t collect it.
