Unruly Train Passenger; Arrests for Driving on Suspended License

Wednesday, Oct. 7

At 9:20 a.m., a 2-year-old reportedly took some prescription anxiety medications.

At 5:21 p.m., police made an arrest following a motor vehicle stop. Steven Mooney, 46, of Nahant was charged with operating on a suspended license, a marked lanes violation and speeding.

At 7:22 p.m., a person brought found property into the station.

At 7:55 p.m., an unruly passenger was reported on a train.

At 11:14 p.m., a caller reported hearing someone downstairs in their home. Police arrived and did a walk-through and all appeared secure.

Thursday, Oct. 8

At 1:14 a.m., a “highly intoxicated” female requested an ambulance and said she could not move.

At 3:41 a.m., a suspicious person was reported to be in the area of Burrill Street and New Ocean Street.

At 8:21 a.m., a caller said a doberman pinscher was running loose near the Stanley School.

At 10:23 a.m., police arrested Leo Lane, 35, of Cranston, R.I., following a motor vehicle stop. Lane was charged with operating with a suspended license (subsequent offense) and failure to stop/yield.

At 6:47 p.m., a caller said that a private investigator approached her in regards to her being a victim of a crime.
