When Is 2015 Leaf Pickup in Swampscott?

Here that crunch underfoot? That means fall is in the air... and on the ground covering your lawn.

So once you’ve finished raking and bounding through the piles a couple of times, how do you actually get them off your property?

The Town of Swampscott conducts yard waste pickup multiple times each year as part of its regular trash service.

The town will be picking up leaves during the weeks beginning on the following days

Oct. 19

Nov. 16

Dec. 7

All you have to do is bag the leaves in paper leaf bags or uncovered barrels and put them on the curb on your regular weekly trash day during the weeks listed above.

Do not use plastic bags and do not put stumps, soil or rocks in the bags, nor any branches over 1 inch in diameter. Bags and barrels must weigh less than 50 pounds.
