2 Lawrence Men Charged With Trafficking Fentanyl In Tewksbury
Felix Rodriguez and Enyer Santana-Ferreira were arrested and fentanyl, crack cocaine and cash were found in their vehicle.

TEWKSBURY, MA —Two Lawrence men have been charged with trafficking fentanyl after being arrested in Tewksbury Monday, the Tewksbury Police Department announced.
Felix Rodriguez, 40, and Enyer Santana-Ferreira, 38, were both charged were trafficking fentanyl (over 36 grams), distribution of a Class A substance and possession of a Class B substance with intent to distribute, police said.
Rodriguez also was charged with conspiracy to violate drug laws and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, while Santana-Ferreira was charged with furnishing false ID information to law enforcement, according to authorities.

The Tewksbury PD said the pair was scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday in Lowell District Court.
According to police reports, at approximately 9:50 p.m. Monday in a parking lot at 95 Main St., Tewksbury police detectives conducting surveillance observed what they believed was a hand-to-hand drug transaction.

Officers stopped the individuals involved in the interaction. One of the suspects was on foot, and two others — Rodriguez and Santana-Ferreira — were occupants in a vehicle, the Tewksbury PD said.
The department said it conducted an on-site investigation and identified the occupants of the vehicle, and Rodriguez and Santana-Ferreira were taken into custody.
According to the Tewksbury PD, while taking Rodriguez and Santana-Ferreira into custody,detectives recovered 42 grams of fentanyl, 12 grams of crack cocaine and $3,116 in cash.
The other individual involved in the alleged transaction, whom police believe was staying at a nearby motel, will be summoned to court at a later date and face charges of possession of fentanyl, police said.
