  • According to the NWS, there is a 60 percent chance of rain Friday which will be mostly cloudy with a high near 66. Expect a north wind from 6 to 9 mph.
  • There is a 30 percent chance of rain Friday night with a low of 49 expected. It will be mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming clear with a calm wind. 
  • Saturday will be sunny, with a high near 79. Expect a northwest wind from  8 to 14 mph.
  • Saturday night will be mostly clear, with a low around 51.
  • Sunday will be mostly sunny, with a high near 82.
  • There is a 30 percent chance of showers Sunday night which will be mostly cloudy, with a low around 59.

It's Happening Today: Calling hours for Shane Contalonis will be held Friday, June 14, from 4-8 p.m., in the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury. Due to the large amount of people/vehicles that are expected at these services, special arraignments have been made for traffic. Read more here.

4. It's Also Happening Today: Billerica Cat Care Coalition will hold its 9thAnnual Chocolate Tasting and Silent Auction on Friday, June 14 at 7 p.m. at the Tewksbury Country Club. Numerous chocolatiers will be providing delicious treats for you to sample and BCCC offers a silent auction including wines, art work and gift certificates to restaurants and outings. All proceeds go toward helping cats and kittens in the community in need of medical care, food, and shelter. 

5. ICYMI: Former Tewksbury resident and retired Massachusetts State Police Lt. Robert Long is one of the 82 witnesses for the prosecution in the trial against James "Whitey" Bulger. Read more here.
