1. Your Weekend Forecast:

• According to the National Weather Service, there is an 80 percent chance of rain Friday with a high of 63 expected.  Expect an east wind from 7 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph and patchy fog between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.
• There is a 90 percent chance of showers Friday night with a low of 53 expected. 
• Saturday there is a 60 percent chance of rain earlier in the day, with a high of 71 expected. Otherwise Saturday will be cloudy, with a northeast wind from 5 to 13 mph becoming west in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 24 mph. 
• There is a 30 percent chance of showers Saturday night which will be otherwise cloudy with a low of around 54. Expect patchy fog after 2 a.m.
• Sunday will be  partly sunny, with a high near 74. Expect patchy fog before 8 a.m.
• Sunday night will be mostly cloudy, with a low around 57. Expect patchy fog after 5am

2. Reader Comment of the Day: "I don't know this kind of reminds me of banning talking on the cell phone, it's hard to enforce, questionable as a valid means of risk prevention and overly intrusive. How does a cop really know if a person is texting? They could be making a phone call or figuring out their grocery bill or just trying to get the darn thing to work. And Bob is right, I've also seen police keyboarding their in-car PC while driving not to mention failing to use turn signals.
