  • According to the National Weather Service, there is a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms Thursday. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. Otherwise, it will be mostly cloudy with a high near 77. Expect a calm wind becoming east 5 to 7 mph in the afternoon. 
  • There is a 70 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms Thursday night with a low of 64. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. 
  • Friday there is a 70 percent chance of rain and thunderstorms with a high of 78 expected. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. Expect patchy fog before 9 a.m. 
  • Friday night there is a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms with a low around 66. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain.
  • There is a 50 percent chance of rain and thunderstorms on Saturday with a high of 80 expected. Otherwise it will be cloudy. 
  • Saturday night there is a 40 percent chance of showers with a low of 67 expected.

3. It's Happening Today: The Tewksbury Rotary Club will meet Thursday at 12:15 p.m. at the Tewksbury Country Club. All are welcome.

It's Also Happening Today: Check out the presentation "Tornadoes in Massachusetts at the Tewksbury Public Library. Enjoy a complimentary cup of coffee and listen to  Mike Main of the Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency discuss tornado preparedness and his past experiences with tornadoes here in Massachusetts.  A donation will be taken up for the victims of the Oklahoma tornado after the talk.

5. Today in Public Meetings: The Tewksbury Zoning Board of Appeals will meet at 6:30 p.m. in the Tewksbury Town Hall  auditorium and the Tewksbury Finance Committee will meet at 7 p.m. in the Town Hall annex conference room.
