In votes, Adams beat Vispoli with 2,648 votes to 2,557 votes. Finegold won the Democratic nomination unopposed. Vispoli did win the hometown he and Adams share, beating Adams 1,267 votes to 754 votes in Andover. Adams won in Tewksbury (678-404), Lawrence (368-352) and Dracut (848-534). In Tewksbury, just 2,109 out of 20,899 registered voters cast ballots on Thursday, according to Town Clerk Denise Graffeo. Thats just 10.2 percent.
