Arts Group to Meet Next Week and Is Looking For New Members

TEWKSBURY —The Tewksbury Community of Artists is meeting on Tuesday February 7, 2017 from 7:00PM-8:30PM at the Tewksbury Public Library in the Trustees Room. They have publicly issued a public welcome and encourage local artists to learn more about the organization.
Established in 1993, the Tewksbury Community of Artists has been a group of talented members that range from young adults to seniors and practice all forms of art. They live in all parts of New England. The Tewksbury Community of Artists are funded by dues, donations and in part by the Tewksbury Local Council (Massachusetts State Cultural Council). The group has demonstrations of various art forms and also workshops which are open to the public.
According to a social media post, staff members are looking for more participation and have positions of leadership open. Part of the roster will be a discussion on the Spring Art show, and other activities in 2017.
