Commuter Rail Service Suspension to Impact Area Commuters
With suspended service along the line from Aug. 24 to Oct. 23, Tewksbury commuters will want to know the impacts and how to get around.

If you take the Commuter Rail from North Wilmington station, be warned.
Starting Monday the Haverhill Line Commuter Rail service between Boston and Reading Stations will be suspended beginning Monday, Aug. 24, through Friday, Oct. 23, from 9 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. to allow for necessary railroad tie replacement.
During this time, Haverhill Trains will operate via the Lowell Line. Customers traveling between Boston and Reading Depot should board the Orange Line to Malden Center and utilize route 136/137 local bus service to Reading.

Intermediate (Malden Center - North Wilmington) Outbound Passengers should utilize route 136/137 local bus service to Reading Depot. A scheduled shuttle bus will operate between Reading Depot and Ballardvale Station via North Wilmington, connecting with outbound train service at Ballardvale.
Intermediate (North Wilmington - Malden Center) Inbound passengers from Haverhill should alight train at Ballardvale Station, boarding a shuttle bus directly to station destination between North Wilmington and Malden Center.

The following trains will be impacted by this work:
Inbound:
- 210 (9:05 am from Haverhill)
- 212 (9:44 am from Haverhill)*
- 214 (12:00 pm from Haverhill)
- 218 (12:40 pm from Haverhill)
*Train 212 will be bused from Haverhill to Bradford Station to connect with Train Service
Outbound:
- 205 (10:30 am from North Station)
- 207 (12:20 pm from North Station)
- 209 (1:10 pm from North Station)
- 211 (3:00 pm from North Station)
Trains 265, 266, 267, and 268 will be cancelled during this time.
