Construction Continues at Sutton Brook Superfund Site

Construction activities are going full speed with lots of progress being made at the Sutton Brook Superfund Site.

According to the latest EPA update, going forward, the site will be active and regular deliveries of materials, supplies or equipment will continue. Large volume soil deliveries have been ongoing and are expected to continue through the fall.

Landfill capping has been ongoing Monday-Saturday each week. To keep up with the supply needs of the project, soil trucking deliveries on Saturdays are being considered. If Saturday soil deliveries are in fact planned to start, an additional web update announcement will occur.

Throughout the course of the project, the EPA will continue to provide updates on upcoming site activities as much in advance as feasible.
