Dewing School Host Annual Teacher Appreciation Luncheon

Every year the Dewing Parent Advisory Council (PAC) hosts a luncheon to thank the Dewing Elementary School staff for all that they do. This year, approximately 100 teachers, aides, specialists, staff and administration were treated to a Luau- inspired buffet.

The school library was decorated with a tropical theme, complete with Hawaiian leis and music. Luncheon coordinator Jennifer Lentini, along with parent volunteers Sara Belson and Lindsay Long were able to secure donations of food and raffles from community restaurants and retailers in addition to donations from parents. The luncheon’s platinum sponsor was TD bank, whose generous donation which allowed many of the entrees to be catered.
