Driver 'Intentionally' Ran Over Seagulls In Tewksbury, Police Say

Police are seeking to identify the driver of an SUV they say is involved in the animal cruelty incident.

TEWKSBURY, MA — Police are asking for the public's assistance in identifying the driver of a dark-colored SUV that "intentionally ran over and killed several seagulls earlier this week," according to a statement from police.

Police were called Thursday at 12:06 p.m. to the parking lot of 1777 Main St., for a report that a driver intentionally ran over and killed several seagulls.

Officers found six dead seagulls. An investigation determined that a dark-colored SUV accelerated before driving through the flock.
