Eli P. Muise, 86, of Tewksbury

Eli P. Muise, 86, of Tewksbury formerly of Wakefield and Reading died Nov. 20, 2015 at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill.

Born in Springhaven, Nova Scotia Canada on May 7, 1929 he was the son of Leon and Julienne (Frotten) Muise.

Eli was raised in Canada. He had worked and was retired from BASF of Bedford and had previously worked for the Boston Stove Company of Reading. He was an avid gardener and was an active Bruins fan. He enjoyed roaring fires in his fireplace.

Eli was the beloved husband of 64 years to Bernadette A. (Doucette). He was the loving father of Camilla J. Ulrich and husband Alan of Reading; Gary P. Muise and wife Lauren of Wakefield; Carl R. Muise and wife Joanne of Mechanicsville, VA. He was the grandfather of Jaclyn, John, Daniel and Andrew. He was the brother of Louis Muise of Canada and the late Sr. Elizabeth Muise, Dennis, John, and Theodore Muise.

His funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Tuesday at 9 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Joseph Church, 173 Albion St., Wakefield at 10 a.m. Interment will be at Lakeside Cemetery, Wakefield. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the Funeral Home on Monday 4-8 p.m.
