3. Zero Waste Day: Tewksbury's Zero Waste Day will be held this Saturday, Sept. 21 at Wynn Middle School from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Stop by and bring a carload of donations of used but usable items to share.
4. It's Also Happening Today: A Friday Morning Matinee at the Tewksbury Public Library will feature 'Behind The Candelabra," a biopic of Liberace starring Michael Douglas and Matt Damon. The movie starts at 10:30 a.m. and free popcorn and lemonade will be provided. Find out how to register here.
5. ICYMI: In case you missed it, University of Massachusetts Lowell Chancellor Marty Meehan announced Thursday actress Meryl Streep will be the next guest in the Chancellor's Speaker Series on on Feb. 5, 2014 at the Tsongas Center. Ticketing information will be released at a later date.
