Funway Park Ribbon Cutting Set for June 10

Residents are invited to join the town of Tewksbury and the Community Preservation Committee at a ribbon cutting for the newly renovated Funway Park at the Livingston Street Recreation Area on Wednesday, June 10.
This project was funded with Community Preservation Funds approved at the 2013 October Special Town Meeting.

Thanks to the commitment and hard work of many caring people, Tewksbury has a fresh face on its playground, providing area children with a safe and engaging place to play.
The ribbon cutting will take place at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 10 at the playground, followed by a free community concert at 6 p.m. featuring Johnny the K. Families are encouraged to bring a picnic blanket to stay and enjoy the concert, which is funded by a generous grant from the Tewksbury Cultural Council.
