TEWKSBURY, MA - Methuen/Tewksbury girls' hockey won in the first round of the <a href="http://miaa.statebrackets.com/tmenu.cfm?tid=3915" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">2016 MIAA Ice Hockey Girls Division 2 tournament Saturday night</a>.Methuen/Tewksbury, which is the number one seed in the tournament, took on number 17 seed Longmeadow Saturday night in Methuen winning the game 6-1.The team goes on to play Notre Dame Academy in the quarterfinals on Saturday, March 12.Methuen/Tewksbury went 16-1-3 for the season.
