According to organizers, proceeds from the event will go to The Bridge Club of Greater Lowell, a nonprofit dedicated to providing a safe place to meet for those in recovery. The club welcomes over 30 recovery meetings every week — for organizations like Alcoholics Anonymous, Al-Anon and Gamblers Anonymous — and it features a staff of recovery coaches to assist those navigating their recovery journey.

According to a representative from Boston Bruins Alumni, Reggie Lemelin, Joe Mullen, Ken Linseman, Bob Beers and Steve Leach are among the former players expected to take part in the event.
