John Joseph Fierimonte, 22, of Tewksbury
Fierimonte was a 2010 graduate of Tewksbury High School, as well as a U.S. Army veteran.

John Joseph Fierimonte, 22, a lifelong resident of Tewksbury and beloved son of George J. and Janice E. (O’Connell) Fierimonte of Tewksbury, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Thursday morning, May 21, 2015.
John was born in Stoneham, MA, on August 29, 1992. He was a 2010 graduate of the Tewksbury High School in Tewksbury. John was a Veteran of the U.S. Army and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal. John was employed by Design Irrigation as an Irrigation Technician, and was formerly with Grasshopper Irrigation. In his spare time John loved to go fishing, hiking, play basketball, skateboarding, and many other outdoor activities. In his younger days, he loved BMX biking, and paintball. John also adored his cat “Chippy”. John was fun-loving and caring, and touched people’s lives wherever he went. He will be dearly missed.

Besides his loving parents, George and Janice, he is survived by his devoted sisters; Meghan and her husband Felipe Oliveira of Milford, and Marisa Fierimonte and Luis Sosa of Tewksbury; nieces Kalea Oliveira and Aliana Sosa, nephew and Godson, Mason Oliveira; aunts and uncles; Mark and Karen Fierimonte, Nancy O’Connell, Edward and Susan O’Connell and Sheila Fierimonte; and many cousins and friends.
John was the beloved grandson of the late George and Anna (Fitzpatrick) Fierimonte, and the late Edward and Jane (Holak) O’Connell.

Visiting hours Thursday, May 28, from 4-8 p.m. in the Tewksbury Funeral Home, corner of 1 Dewey St. and 975 Main St. (Rte. 38) in Tewksbury Center His funeral will begin on Friday at 8:45 a.m. from the funeral home followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. William’s Church, 1351 Main St. (Rte. 38) Tewksbury. Burial will follow Mass at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
