Letter To The Editor: Endorsing Eric Ryder for Tewksbury Select Board
'Eric brings a unique perspective to town issues having experience as the current Director of Hudson DPW...'

Tewksbury Residents,
I am writing this letter in support of Eric Ryder for Tewksbury Select Board. I have known Eric personally for over a decade and has been my go-to person to discuss infrastructure, water and sewer, and zoning issues. Eric brings a unique perspective to town issues having experience as the current Director of Hudson DPW and recently serving on the Tewksbury Planning Board. Eric consistently explains both sides of the issue, regardless of his opinion, to give a clear picture so you to come to your own conclusion.
Eric is also heavily involved with many Tewksbury youth sports organizations. I have coached with and against Eric across multiple sports in town, with “Coach E” having coached my son in football, basketball, and baseball. As current Tewksbury Boys Basketball League President, 8-year member of the Tewksbury Youth Baseball Board of Directors, and father, I have seen his dedication firsthand. Eric consistently puts the kids’ experience first, making sure they learn the game, work hard, be a good teammate, and most importantly, have fun. I was ecstatic when Eric approached me last summer and said he wanted to put in to coach 3rd/4th grade basketball with his son, Andrew, even though his boys had aged out of the program with Eric having multiple other obligations. For Eric to come back to the program and spend hours a week volunteering gives me no doubt that he will have our children’s current and future interests in mind when making any decision as a member of the Tewksbury Select Board.
