LETTER: Polimeno Has Their Votes on April 6
Readers say that Polimeno takes strong stands on issues she believes in.

Dear Tewksbury Voters,
As we look at all the candidates this election season, there is one that stands out for the office she is vying for. Krissy Polimeno has clearly demonstrated that she deserves another 3 years as a School Committee member. In her first term, she was instrumental with the transition of a new superintendent, business manager and most importantly our new Tewksbury Memorial High School. The elevation to Chairperson in her second year speaks volumes of the respect she so quickly garnered from her peers for not only her strong stance on issues she believes in, but also her openness to hear out all the issues. After many months of negotiations, her chair oversaw a 3 year contract with the teachers union ending the uncertainty for our teachers.
One trait of Krissy’s that I realized in a short time is that she is no phony. What she offers in words or actions is her true position whether it is popular or not. She comes from a family of educators with a principal value in giving our children the best education they so deserve within a motivating environment. I have had the privilege to sit alongside Krissy on several town committees. Her knowledge and drive could be intimidating, and quite frankly hard to keep up with at times. But it was refreshing to see firsthand her commitment and passion to ensure our children and the community’s interests always came first. Krissy has mastered the art of raising a family along with coaching her children’s sports, all while putting most of her other time into community and civic endeavors. The town of Tewksbury should be proud that not only did some of us locals notice all that Krissy has accomplished in the last 3 years, but so did the selection committee for the Massachusetts All-State School Committee as they appointed her to one of only nine seats in the state to serve on that committee. The bar has certainly been raised for any candidate running for this office thanks to Krissy. I respectfully ask all voters to join myself, my wife Leisa and our family in support of Krissy and elect her back to the School Committee on April 6th.
